Troubleshooting
Start with the visible error, the selected workspace, and the status of the existing work. Many issues can be resolved without creating another import or run.

Before you start
- The page or plugin tab where the problem occurred.
- The organization, project, and affected job or request name.
A product is locked or a list is empty
Open Home to check whether the selected organization has access to the product. An early-access preview is different from a loading error. Retry a failed access check; do not assume an error means the product is unavailable.
For empty assets, workflows, or requests, confirm the organization and project and clear filters. Ask an administrator about missing project permissions. See Organizations & projects.
The Figma plugin cannot connect or read a file
- Mica key rejected: check for an incomplete or revoked key. Use the account’s Test connection control; replace the key if necessary.
- Browser sign-in finished but setup is still required: copy your Mica key from the dashboard and save it in plugin Settings.
- Figma access missing: use Connect Figma and confirm the intended Figma account can open the file.
- File cannot be identified: paste its Share → Copy link URL into Teach Mica.
- Saved import uses a different method: select its original OAuth or personal-token method before resuming.
An import is processing or partly failed
Inspect the original job in Train or the plugin’s Activity before resubmitting. A queued job can be waiting for a worker. Keep successful items and use retry or resume for unfinished work.
If an animation is missing media, attach the files to that specific source and confirm the mappings. Preserve folders and filenames. A short preview or missing optional font does not describe the readiness of every editable entry.
Fonts changed or translated text does not fit
Read the named font warning, supply the required face if available, and check that it supports the target language. Rerun the affected generation after fixing the font or directions.
For Convert, Editable text may use a replacement font; Original lettering trades live text editing for preserved appearance. For Studio, use variant Instructions to clarify wrapping and protected wording, then inspect the new result.
Studio completes with warnings or cannot run
Open the item’s Result inspector. “Completed” can include an unverified result that still needs review. Read the findings and fix the affected variant before rerunning it.
If Run is unavailable, select eligible variants, finish their required inputs, and wait for pending saves. Confirm credits and access when the error requests it. A media file used in a slot is not a complete source creative.
A Convert download did not save
Use Download HTML again and inspect your browser’s download controls. A download-started message only indicates an attempt. For multiple exports, use the ZIP download when available.
If the background copy failed to save, your ready local HTML can still be downloaded. Use Retry saving to retain that export. You do not need to start a fresh conversion just to retry the download.
An approval action or link is unavailable
Complete the checklist for approval; provide feedback for Request changes or Reject. Confirm the current stage permits your decision. On a shared review link, enter your name and email.
If a request already completed or moved stages, its actions may have changed. For an expired or revoked link, ask the request administrator for a current one. If a workflow is missing from setup, confirm it is published in this project.
Give support the useful details
Contact support@elicitlabs.ai with the organization and project, affected job or request, the action you took, the visible error, and approximately when it happened. Describe whether some items succeeded.
