Connect your coding agent

Connect Codex, Claude Code or Cursor to your Mica project. Your coding agent decides when a completed feature would benefit from an animation, then proposes it in Mica.

Set up Codex

One setup in your code project. Then your agent can suggest animations and respond to material requests in Mica.

Choose your coding agent

Loading setup…

Manage connections in Mica

Open Settings → Integrations → Coding agents to choose a destination project, connect another agent, verify its last contact, or revoke access. Setup adds the skill and project instructions automatically. The agent connects directly to Mica; the setup download runs once.

Open integrations settings

From feature to animation

Your agent evaluates completed, verified behavior and proposes a useful demonstration with its reason and evidence. Open its Mica review link and approve the proposal. The animation service plans the work and asks for materials; the coding agent captures them, uploads them and answers follow-up requests.

The skill guides the agent’s judgment. If a feature is missed, invoke the animation-handoff skill or add a proposal in Mica. Missing materials are reported with a reason.

Resume or disconnect

Closing a coding session leaves material requests pending. Use the skill in a related session to resume. Disconnect in Settings to revoke access. Removing local configuration does not revoke the separate Mica authorization.

Setup requires Python 3.11 or later and a client that supports HTTP MCP and OAuth. If your client cannot install or authenticate automatically, follow the exact action shown in setup.
