Build a Studio workflow

Before you start

• Studio access in your organization and a selected project.
• An eligible source creative in the project Library, such as an imported design, template, or completed generation.
• Available credits for the generation you want to run.

Build and run a workflow

   Create a workflow

   Open Studio and choose New workflow. Give it a name that identifies the campaign or deliverable. Confirm the project before adding assets.

   Add a source from Assets

   Open Assets to browse your DAM. Click an eligible creative to add it as a base. Choose the intended variant before adding it. Images used to fill a template slot are ingredients within a design; choose the complete creative when you want to transform the layout.

   Add an operation

   Select the source and choose Relayout for new sizes or Localize for languages. Fill in the targets and directions, then create the variants. Available operations depend on the selected source.

   Run the intended items

   Select the variants you want and choose Run to start eligible unfinished items. Completed items are skipped. With nothing selected, Run applies to the whole workflow. To regenerate a completed output, open its inspector and choose Run again. When only running or queued work remains, the button turns into Stop: it stops selected work, or all workflow work with nothing selected.

   Open Result

   Click a completed item in Graph or Table to open its Result inspector. Check the preview, dimensions, version, and warnings. Use the available preview and download actions for that output.

Give directions at the right level

Give shared directions to Mica in Studio chat. Select an item and use its Brief tab for directions specific to that output. Save your edits before starting the next run.

Directions entered while creating Relayout or Localize variants apply to those new variants. Fine-tune individual outputs afterward. Editing directions affects future runs; it does not rewrite a run that is already underway.

Prepare drafts from a brief

Use the paperclip or drop an Excel, CSV, document or text file into Studio. When the file is ready, press Send. You can add a message, or let Mica infer the task from the file.

Mica matches named creatives in the workflow, updates existing variants and prepares missing ones. It preserves exact copy and reports requirements it cannot match. Existing bases are reused. To restrict the task, say “only use the selected items.” Inspect the prepared drafts, then choose Run when ready.

Export a workflow or selected outputs

With nothing selected, choose Export all in the Studio header to export the workflow’s available outputs. To export specific outputs, select them in Graph, Canvas, or Table. The header button becomes Export selected; the bottom bar also exports the selection. Choose your formats in the export dialog. In All drafts, select assets and choose Download selected, or open a preview and use its right-hand menu to Send for approval, Add to DAM, or Download. A single image downloads directly; animations and multiple assets download as a ZIP. Adding to DAM starts an import whose progress you can follow in Library.

Each animation has its own folder containing playable HTML and assets. Images contain the final image file. Extract the downloaded ZIP once to access everything. Mica prepares the ZIP on the server, then starts a direct download. Large exports may take a few minutes; exports support up to 10 GB.

Choose a view and reuse a result

Graph shows the relationships between sources and variations. Canvas helps compare artwork. Table gives a compact list you can scroll and inspect.

To make another transformation from a completed result, select that output as the parent. For example, create a portrait Relayout and then Localize that portrait result. Check version history when comparing iterations so you know which one you are using.
