Build a Studio workflow

Studio connects source creatives to the variations you want to make. Start with a base design, add operations, and inspect the resulting outputs in one workflow.

What you’ll accomplishA saved workflow with a source, at least one generated variation, and an inspected result.

Before you start

  • Studio access in your organization and a selected project.
  • An eligible source creative in the project Library, such as an imported design, template, or completed generation.
  • Available credits for the generation you want to run.

Build and run a workflow

  1. Create a workflow

Open Studio and choose New workflow. Give it a name that identifies the campaign or deliverable. Confirm the project before adding assets.
  2. Add a source from Assets

Open Assets to browse your DAM. Click an eligible creative to add it as a base. Choose the intended variant before adding it. Images used to fill a template slot are ingredients within a design; choose the complete creative when you want to transform the layout.
  3. Add an operation

Select the source and choose Relayout for new sizes or Localize for languages. Fill in the targets and directions, then create the variants. Available operations depend on the selected source.
  4. Run the intended items

Select the variants you want and choose Run selected. With nothing selected, Run all runs the eligible items. Wait for the queued work to finish before deciding whether it needs another attempt.
  5. Open Result

Click a completed item in Graph or Table to open its Result inspector. Check the preview, dimensions, version, and warnings. Use the available preview and download actions for that output.

Give directions at the right level

Open the workflow title menu and choose Workflow instructions for directions shared across the workflow. Use a variant’s Instructions tab for changes that apply only to that output. Save your edits before starting the next run.

Example directions
Keep the product name “Northstar” unchanged. Preserve prices and legal copy. Use a calm, direct voice. Keep the logo readable on every background.

Directions entered while creating Relayout or Localize variants apply to those new variants. Fine-tune individual outputs afterward. Editing directions affects future runs; it does not rewrite a run that is already underway.

Choose a view and reuse a result

Graph shows the relationships between sources and variations. Canvas helps compare artwork. Table gives a compact list you can scroll and inspect.

To make another transformation from a completed result, select that output as the parent. For example, create a portrait Relayout and then Localize that portrait result. Check version history when comparing iterations so you know which one you are using.

Keep going
