Translate with Localize
Localize adapts the copy in a creative for a target language while keeping the source canvas size. Use clear language, market, and copy instructions to guide each variation.

Before you start
- An eligible source or completed Studio result.
- Target languages or locales, plus any approved translations.
- Compatible fonts for the target script where your brand requires them.
Create language variants
Select the source and choose Localize
Choose the complete design you want to translate. For a different size, finish Relayout first and select its result.Choose languages and clarify the market
Select the offered target languages or locales. Include regional requirements in the directions when needed, such as French for France or a particular Chinese script.Specify protected copy and approved wording
List brand names, product names, prices, URLs, and legal text that must stay unchanged. Supply an exact approved translation when you have one and explicitly ask Mica to preserve it verbatim.Create, save, and run
Create the variants. Use each variant’s Instructions tab for language-specific refinements, save, then run the selected items.
Write useful localization directions
Localize this creative for French readers in France. Use a direct, friendly tone. Keep “Northstar”, “€29”, and the URL unchanged. Use the approved CTA “Découvrir” exactly. Keep all factual claims and legal qualifications.
Check fonts and line breaks
Supply a compatible brand font when the translated script requires one. A font that works for English may not include the letters needed for another language. Mica can report a substitution or a missing-glyph issue; read the warning and inspect the rendered text.
Check accents, punctuation, line breaks, and text clipping. For Japanese and Korean animations, inspect how phrases wrap during the reading holds. For any animated result, watch the full copy sequence.
Refine one language without changing the others
Open that variant’s Instructions, state the exact issue, and rerun the selected variant. For example: “Keep the approved headline unchanged; shorten only the supporting sentence so it fits in two lines.”
Inspect the new Result and its warnings. Then select the intended versions when sending the work for approval.
