Resize with Relayout
Use Relayout to adapt a source design to new canvas dimensions. Give Mica the intended formats and the parts of the design that must remain intact.

Before you start
- An open Studio workflow and an eligible base or completed result.
- The target dimensions and any copy, logo, or layout constraints.
- Source fonts and assets available in the project.
Create size variants
Select the source
Choose the base or completed output you want to adapt. If you are chaining from an earlier variation, check that its result is the one you intend to reuse.Choose Relayout
Open Relayout and select the target formats, or enter custom dimensions when offered. Use exact width and height for placements with fixed requirements.Add specific directions
State what can move and what must stay unchanged. Include any minimum legal-copy requirements or reserved areas supplied by your team.Create and run the variants
Confirm the targets, create the variants, select them, and choose Run selected. Open each completed Result to compare it against the source.
Example: square ad to portrait
Create a 1080 × 1920 version of this 1080 × 1080 ad. Keep the original logo, product image, price, and legal line. Reposition the headline and call to action for the taller canvas. Do not invent a new offer.
Ask for the intended layout behavior as well as the size. A taller canvas often needs a new arrangement of text and imagery, especially when the source contains dense copy.
Inspect every target size
- Confirm the output width and height.
- Read the entire headline, call to action, price, and legal copy.
- Check image crops, logo placement, text contrast, and spacing.
- For animation, watch the transitions and reading holds as well as the poster.
- Read font substitutions and quality warnings in Result.
If an output needs refinement, update its Instructions and rerun that variant. Inspect the new version before downloading or sending it for approval.
